Been a crazy summer so far... don't know if this will be typical from here on out ... but pretty much not a lot of relaxation.
* Lauren spend the first 2 weeks at BYU Soccer camp, followed by SUU soccer camp -- and made the MVP all star team. She was home for a few days, then went to Youth Conference, started 7:30 am conditioning, went to girl's camp and is now back to 7:30 am conditioning, soccer, online driver's ed, online Computer Technology and reading a book for Honors English in the fall.
* Kenzi took summer PE 8:00 - noon every day of June. She also had a basketball camp for a week so we did basketball from 1-5 for one of those weeks. She is also doing online health, went to Youth Conference, Girls Camp and is finally getting to sleep in on occasion. But Summer Band has now started.
* Cameron and I took our big trip and then he has enjoyed Scout Camp, Boys kids camp this week, tennis lessons, science camp (which included timp caves, planetarium, imax movie, bee farm, dissecting worms and mor) lacrosse tournaments and lots and lots of reading. He has read the Harry Potter Books 1 - 4 and is in the middle of Book 5. Lots of trampolining, playing crazy in the culd-de-sac and XBox too.
* Dave... well he did get Youth Conference and a night at the cabin and has been working to pay for all of our fun. Sorry honey -- we love you! And he got a new calling as Stake Young Men's President. He's had a few trampoline sleep outs and had Dad/Cam bonding nights while we were at Youth Conference. Oh and he has been smok'n up tons and tons of yummy dinners!!!
* Me ... trying to keep up with the kids' schedule, Washington, Youth Conference, Girls Camp, kitchen remodel and getting back to normal post chemo.
* In between we've been enjoying outdoor movies in the backyard, working hard on the new trampoline set up, lots of games, a quick cabin trip, shave ice, Sunday dinners, trampoline sleepovers, 4th of July festivities, some field trips to Tracy Aviary and Boondocks.
Can't wait to see what the 2nd half of summer brings!
